St Agnes’ Choral Society was proud to present the timeless Cole Porter classic, Anything Goes, at the Grand Opera House Belfast in April of 2026.
First written in 1934, our production of Anything Goes follows the 2022 revision. Anything Goes is a romantic comedy set on the SS American as it heads from New York to London. The plot focuses on the lovestruck, and penniless stock broker Billy Crocker, having fallen for Hope Harcourt as he stows away in the hopes of breaking off her engagement to her betrothed Lord Evelyn Oakley. Along the way he enlists the help of long time friend and nightclub singer Reno Sweeney, and fellow stowaway, gangster Moonface Martin.
