AIMS 2026!

St Agne’s Choral Society was thrilled to receive three nominations for this year’s AIMS Awards.

• Best Actress - Lorraine Jackson as Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes (Grand Opera House, April 2026)

• Best Chorepgraphy - Ann Marie Morgan for Anything Goes (Grand Opera House, April 2026)

• Best Moment of Theatre - The tap dance section for the titular number in Anything Goes (Grand Opera House, 2026)

• Angela Cunningham was shortlisted for the Mary Kelly/Unsung Hero Award for her many years of service to St. Agne’s Choral Society

Our very own Aideen Fox was also nominated in the category of Best Actress for her performance as Judy Bernely in Ulster Operatic’s production of 9 to 5 The Musical (Opera House, October 2025).

Unfortunately we didn’t win any of the categories we were nominated for however we had an absolute blast at the annual AIMS Awards weekend in Killarney, organised by the Association of Irish Musical Societies. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners, and here’s to AIMS 2027!
